Summer Reading Requirements
Refer to the Beverly Middle School Summer Reading website for details on the book lists, response assignments, where to get books, and more.
All students entering grades 5-8 at Beverly Middle School in fall 2022 are required to read 2 books
- one from a designated list provided on the website (and also available at the public library)
- one graphic novel of student's own choice
It is strongly recommended that students read more than the required minimum over the summer, so if you have other books that are not on the list you'd like to read, please do those in addition to the required reading.
Students entering grades 6-8 are also required to create a response piece to the book they choose from the provided lists. Details are on the summer reading website. This assignment will be due in early September and will be turned in electronically.
Summer Math Requirements
You may print these packets out yourself at home, at the public library, or pick up printouts at the BMS office.
