Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! It is my great pleasure to welcome both new and
returning families to the district! We cannot wait to greet your children on opening day to start the new school year. All students in Grades 1-9 will return to school for a full day on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 while students in Grades 10 - 12 will participate in a Virtual School Day on Wednesday and report to classes on Thursday, September 1st. Our Kindergarten students will attend an Orientation at their respective schools prior to the start of their first official day on Thursday, September 8th. Finally, our youngest students in PreK will also have their first official day on Thursday, September 8th. Whether your child is entering our schools for the first time or embarking on their Senior year, we are looking forward to welcoming them back as they explore their new classrooms and discover the exciting learning adventures their teachers have in store for them. The start of the new school year is truly one of the most exhilarating times of the year!
As we begin this new academic year, I want to reassure families and staff of our commitment to safety, wellness, social emotional learning and academic excellence. I am excited for the potential of this school year as we return with great optimism for a healthy school year. Although we support anyone choosing to utilize a mask, masking is not mandated. Our COVID-19 Mitigation Strategies have been established to help families navigate our safe return to school.
