Math team had a good first meet. Started slow with 8 and 6 points in rounds 1 and 2 but finished strong with 14 points in both rounds 4 and 5. Graham Fledman had the top score for 6th grade and both 8th graders Ian Checksfield and Emmanuel Okeke were close 2nd and 3rd to the top scoring 8th grader.
The Math team will begin preparing for the 2nd meet next Thursday 10/20, new members especially 7th grade, we have no 7th grade representation are welcome to come check it out.
Math team meets Thursdays from 3-3:45 in room 436 (4th floor, neighborhood 3). Anyone interested in challenging math should come check it out. New and returning members are always welcome.
