As we approach the midpoint of the academic year, we want to express our gratitude for the ongoing support and commitment to your child's education. Our mission at Beverly Middle School is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to excel academically and reach their full potential.
In an effort to provide additional support for students who may be facing challenges or falling behind academically, we are excited to introduce a new initiative – Saturday School.
Beginning on December 2, 2023, we will be offering Saturday School sessions to help students recover lost academic time due to excess absenteeism from school, excess time outside of the classroom during class time, or lack of completion of academic work during assigned class times.

Chaperone: A student in Saturday school should be accompanied by a parent or guardian to ensure academic work is completed.
Purpose of Saturday School:

Provide targeted academic support to students falling behind in specific subjects.

Create a focused and conducive learning environment for intensive catch-up sessions.

Address individual learning needs through personalized assistance.
Why Saturday School?
We understand that the demands of the traditional school week can be challenging for some students, and we want to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive academically. Saturday School allows us to offer a dedicated time for extra support without interfering with the regular classroom schedule.
How to get to Saturday School?
Grade level teachers, team teachers, Global App teachers, and special education teachers will identify and submit the names of students who need the additional academic support or who need the additional time to complete their assignments. An email notification will be sent to each family individually by Wednesday of the week of Saturday school.

For those concerned about transportation, please reach out to us, and we will work with you to find a suitable solution.
