Chess Nights at the Library (ages 12 and up)
Monday, May 13 from 5:30-7:30 PM
Barnet Gallery, Main Library
BevRec and the Beverly Public Library are teaming up to offer Chess Nights. This is not an instructional class, but rather a meetup for people who are looking to play. No matter your skill level, join us and challenge yourself to learn, grow and master chess. Boards will be provided though we invite you to bring a board if you are able. Sponsored by the Beverly Recreation Department.

Creative Writing Club: Grade 4-8

Come clean up downtown Beverly! Do some volunteer hours and have some pizza while helping to beautify our city.

More than 400 poems were submitted to the 2024 Beverly Public Library's Teen Poetry Contest. Several BPS students including Beverly Middle School 8 Hale student Emma Conway were recognized and read their poems aloud. See a complete list of finalists here.
