Many warm winter jackets have shown up in the lost & found outside the library just since we got back from the holidays!
Other jackets and sweaters are in the boxes in the lobby, outside the office. These were misplaced before the holiday break and will be donated by the end of the month.
Dozens of water bottles, lunchboxes, jackets, sweaters and more end up in our lost and found each month. Very few of them are marked, including $50 water bottles, winter jackets and sports shirts that may have cost well over $100. Unclaimed items are donated to charity but we try to check for labels before donating or disposing of them.
Be aware that smaller valuable items (glasses, earbuds, jewelry, small electronics, etc.) that are turned in are typically sent to the main office, so ask there if your child loses something of this nature.
Please be diligent in labeling your child's personal items using a permanent marker, a laundry marker, or other labels. Here are some suggested labels that are for both clothing and personal items.
