This week the BMS track and field team met with the rest of the North Shore Middle Schools for the NEC Meet.
60 BMS students travelled to Danvers High School and gave it their all for Beverly. Some ran, some jumped and some threw but most importantly of all, they formed a great team spirit that brought them to 3rd place overall in the girls competition and 4th place in the boys.
Notable results include Jaydin Simpson who won the 100 meters overall and Aidan Lee-Wo who also won the 100 meters overall.
Julia Hampton was 2nd overall in the 200 meters and Angelica Toribio was 3rd!
Belle Groff, 3rd, Lilly Panda, 4th and Jane Kirk, 6th all scored in the mile. Jack Casey was 4th overall! in the boys mile.
Jeremy Demers came 3rd in the 800m and in the Girls High Jump, Belle Groff and Isabella Ferreira were joint 3rd, as was Lucien Beauregard in the Boys High Jump.
