Weeding some of your kids' books? BMS Librarian Ms. Woznick would love to take them off your hands!
Most donated books are given directly to students through a giveaway rack outside the library or when students are browsing the book giveaway shelf. They are also given to teachers to use in their classroom collections. It's great to give books away and allow students to keep them for their own! More mature books may be passed along to the high school librarian. A select number of books are put into the library collection, depending on library collection needs, book condition, and ability to process them.
What sort of books are we looking for:
- Graphic novels
- Chapter books geared toward kids in grades 3-9
- Nonfiction books on topics of interest to middle school kids
- Joke books, World Record books and other "fun" books
You can drop books off in the office or students can bring them to Ms. Woznick in the BMS library. Please put the student's name on the bag so we can contact you with a thanks and a gift receipt!
