The NAN Project Visits 7th Graders

The NAN Project is a local nonprofit that works to normalize mental health. They recently visited students on 7 Balch and 7 Cabot and will be seeing students on 7 Hale this week

The NAN Project uses a peer leader model that draws upon the stories of young people to humanize mental health. The project was started after the tragic suicide of Nan Cavanaugh as a senior in college. Her brother Jake, who leads the organization, lives in Beverly.
